An interior designer can help you save time and money by improving the effectiveness, accessibility, functionality and aesthetic appeal of your space in a way that ensures safety and optimal use.

To create an interior design scheme for your project, we will consider the intended function of your space to curate an environment that is fit for purpose, as well as considering how the scheme can positively impact the way you live and enjoy living whilst also reflecting your unique style. The designer will also address sustainability and environmental impact, and ensure compliance with all related health & safety codes, building regulations and installation requirements.

The Steps that are entailed

  • an on-site consultation to scope the project, define the brief and create the Design proposal.

Concept

We share a questionnaire with the client which helps to identify the preferred colours, style how you live and what your dreams are, enabling a pinboard to be created of design ideas which is discussed to find out the clients likes and dislikes.

 Mood board
A mood board is created helps to establish the colour palette, furniture, textiles and the overall look and feel of your room to give you a good starting point from which to visualise your project.

It will incorporate:

  • Furniture with layout
  • Soft furnishings, curtains,blinds,rugs cushions
  • paint colours/ wall finishes
  • lighting with design layout
  • Fittings
  • Artwork/ Mirrors/ Accessories
  • Costings

  • Once the scheme is agreed, we will organise our skilled trademen and craftsmen to quote for the work to be carried out.
  • Mimos Interiors will oversee the project from start to finish ordering products and arranging deliveries on your behalf.

 Fees

Our fees depend on the work involved; no project is too big or too small and we are delighted to work on individual rooms as well as complete refurbishments.

Colour Consultation

Whether you are looking to sell or just need a refresh, colour can transform the way you experience your home with minimal cost and high impact.

For a set cost (depending on the number of rooms) we will visit your space and take the brief.  You will receive a pallet of paint finishes and wall coverings , specifying for the walls, skirts, woodwork,units, and ceilings.

Using our expertise and knowledge of the paint and wallcovering market, it’s absolutely amazing what can be achieved using our skilled decorating team.
