Refurbishment of kitchen/dining room basement

Mimos Interiors were engaged at the start of the refurbishment of our basement kitchen and dining room – a complete redesign involving major building works.. Meme was extremely proactive throughout the process, from advising on architect plans, to asking all the right questions of the builders to coming up with a really beautiful design that works wonderfully for our family.

Meme’s response to our brief was impeccable, she really listened to what we were trying to achieve and came up with a solution that surpassed our imagination and expectations. 

Her design plans were gorgeous, Meme has exquisite taste, but also a keen eye on budget.. The suppliers she recommended were all excellent and delivered superb quality.

Refurbishemnt of Georgian property

Last year I bought a beautiful but dilapidated 248m apartment in a Georgian property, full of original features.

It is now an exceptional home exquisitely furnished thanks to Meme. I am delighted with the outcome and could not have achieved it without Memes help , original ideas and team work. Meme helped with all aspects of the work providing valuable specialist contacts and opinions on all aspects of the decor.
She helped in designing and sourcing the  bathrooms and sourced some very special mother of pearl tiles to reflect my love of the sea.

Tasteful colours, curtains and lighting were selected together with fixtures and fittings. Meme was always careful to take account of my personal tastes and furniture to create a blend that works extremely well.

For example, Meme sourced beautiful bespoke hand painted eglomise mirrors. Most of all Meme was always fun to work with and had plenty of original ideas. It was a truly differentiated experience and I highly recommend Mimos Interiors to anyone.

Loft conversion

. It’s very hard to articulate your unconscious desires for how you want to design your space but Meme worked very hard to help me do just that.

From my random thoughts and our many discussions, she successfully laid out the design I wanted. Arguably, that was the hard bit, but the implementation is never easy, and she nailed that as well. Meme has shown me the importance and positive power of design. I am so happy in my new space. It was such a fun project as well. She is a great lady.

One bedroom flat Refurbishment

I had the pleasure of working with Meme on a 6-month total flat renovation project.

The apartment was  gutted, rewired, , damp proofing and plastering, bathroom, kitchen and flooring stripped out and replaced, with new  fixtures and fittings and new  furniture installed.

Throughout the 6 months, Meme was part of the team from the very first visit, provided all the designs, did the purchasing, and coordinated the various expert teams. She was on the ball when changes needed to be made (as we discovered issues once we removed floors or took out walls) and she communicated perfectly.

We were working on a tight (minimum?) budget for the scope of the work, but we came in on budget and in the timeline.

Honestly I could not speak more highly about Mimos Interiors. Without Meme this project had enormous potential for disaster, but Meme´s professional approach and very strong ownership made it a success, and we enjoy the new home every day.

I remain grateful, and can highly recommend Meme.

Curtain and Blind project

Mimos Interiors sourced, supplied and organised the fitting of curtains and blinds in our home.   It was so great to leave this in Meme’s capable hands; she provided a full service from advice to fitting,we were really pleased with the result which was professionally and efficiently organised.

Bathroom Design and installation

Meme completely transformed my bathroom from an old fashioned old man’s room into a modern, welcoming, easy to use space that I look forward to using each morning. Brilliant end result and a joy to work with. Really made the most of the bathroom and created a room that is a pleasure to use and always gets positive comments. She is well connected, easy to work with and has an amazing vision for what a space can be. Highly recommended.

Family House refurbishment

I used Meme and her company when we moved house and needed a complete rethink on our décor. She was just fab – warm, approachable but highly professional. She has great ideas, a fabulous eye and a talent for translating my incoherent ramblings into reality. Her contacts are excellent; she sourced some flooring which was perfect and her blind maker was brilliant.

 Meme had a very practical approach to budgets, I never felt that I was being pushed into over-spending. It was a pleasure working with Meme and I would have no hesitation in recommending her.
